Court Waitlist Auto-Promotion
How cancelled court slots are automatically offered to waitlisted members
When a court booking is cancelled, the system automatically offers the slot to the first person on the waitlist for that court and time. You don't need to keep checking — we notify you instantly.
How It Works
- Another member cancels their court booking for a time you're waitlisted on
- The system checks the waitlist and picks the first person who joined (first in, first out)
- You receive a push notification and email with the slot details and a link to accept or decline
- A time-limited reservation is created for you while you decide
Accepting the Slot
Tap the link in your notification or open the app to accept the slot. Once you accept, the court booking is confirmed and your waitlist entry is removed.
Declining or Missing the Window
You have a limited time to respond (set by the club, typically 60 minutes). If you decline or the time expires without a response, the slot is automatically offered to the next person on the waitlist.
Position Updates
When someone ahead of you accepts, declines, or their window expires, you receive a notification with your updated position in the queue.
Tip
Enable push notifications so you don't miss time-sensitive promotion offers. The acceptance window is limited, and if you miss it the slot goes to the next person.
