Match Detail & Cost Split
Understanding the match page, player list, and how costs are divided
The match detail page shows everything about a specific match — who's playing, the cost split, and how to communicate with your group. Access it from My Bookings by clicking on any match booking.
What You'll See
- Court, date, time, and duration
- Player list — names, skill levels, and join status for each spot
- Cost breakdown — total court cost divided by the number of players (updates as more players join)
- Your payment status and amount paid
- Match status (Open, Full, Cancelled)
Cost Split
The court cost is divided equally among all confirmed players. If you join a 4-player match and only 2 players have joined so far, your displayed share is half the court cost. When the 3rd and 4th players join, the cost per person decreases — but you only pay your original share at the time you joined.
Leaving a Match
You can leave a match before it starts. Whether you receive a refund depends on the club's cancellation policy and how close to the start time you leave. The match organiser is notified when a player leaves.
Tip
Set your skill level in your profile before joining matches. Organisers can see your level and it helps everyone have a better game.
