Buying a Spot from a Link

Purchase someone else's confirmed activity booking via a shared link

When someone shares a spot sale link with you, you can purchase their confirmed booking and take their place in the activity. The landing page shows you all the details before you commit.

What You'll See

The landing page displays:

  • Activity name, sport, and type
  • Date, time, and location
  • Sale price
  • Whether the spot is still available

How to Purchase

  1. Click the sale link you received — you'll see the activity details
  2. Sign in if you haven't already (you'll return to the same page after)
  3. Check if you're eligible — your status is shown clearly on the page
  4. Choose your payment method: wallet balance, card, or a mix of both
  5. Complete the purchase — you may need to approve 3D Secure verification
  6. Done! You're now registered for the activity

Payment Options

  • Wallet only: If your wallet balance covers the full price, no card needed
  • Card only: Pay the full amount by card
  • Split payment: Use your wallet balance first, pay the remainder by card

Eligibility Requirements

You must meet the same requirements as original registration: membership tier, gender restrictions, and skill level requirements. If you're not eligible, the page will tell you why and you won't be able to purchase.

Common Problems

  • "This spot has already been sold": Someone else purchased it before you. The spot is no longer available.
  • "This spot is no longer available": The seller cancelled their listing or their underlying booking was cancelled.
  • "This activity has already started": You can't purchase spots for activities that are in progress or completed.
  • "You are already registered": You already have a booking for this activity — you can't book twice.
